May at Brewed As is all about love, support, and community. We're marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a Pink Ribbon Brunch in partnership with Four Square — a morning of delicious food, fun energy, and a charity auction packed with curated bundles, all for a great cause. With Mother's Day around the corner, it's the perfect time to treat someone special while giving back. And while you’re at it, help lift up local by casting your vote in the Junction Awards — where your voice helps recognise the incredible businesses that make our community what it is.

Music is a big part of what we enjoy here at Brewed, and we make it a point to keep our playlists fresh. I, along with the team, listen to music every day, and to ensure a dynamic musical experience.

This month’s pick: Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings
Powerhouse soul singer Sharon Jones was more than just a voice — she was a force. Fierce, fearless, and full of fire, she fronted the Dap-Kings with unstoppable energy and vintage funk style, carving out a space in modern soul that was unapologetically her own. Her music brings grit, groove, and heart — perfect for a month that celebrates strength, resilience, and community. Hit play and feel the soul. Click the green link below.

Join us at Brewed As for our Pink Ribbon Brunch - a vibrant morning dedicated to great food, good company, and raising vital funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. In partnership with Four Square, we’re hosting a one-off brunch event featuring a lively charity auction with specially tailored bundles up for grabs. The Foundation does incredible work across Aotearoa — from funding life-saving research and education to supporting those going through treatment. It’s a meaningful way to gather as a community, show support, and contribute to a cause that touches so many lives.

At our Pink Ribbon Brunch live auction, we’ll be offering a selection of thoughtfully curated bundles - each designed around a unique theme and full of locally sourced, feel-good treats.

Here’s a taste of what to expect:

Blush & Bubbles – A pink-spirited celebration pack, likely featuring a boutique gin, artisan tonic, and a bottle of rosé - perfect for sharing or gifting.

Daily Brewtiful – For the coffee (and tea) lovers: think specialty beans, a beautiful reusable cup, a tea blend or two, and something to sweeten your daily brew - plus a Brewed As coffee card.

Wellness Wonder – A bundle of body-and-brain boosters, with items like tonic blends, local honey, adaptogens, and natural health products to support your wellbeing.

Sweat & Supper – Designed for those who love to unwind, this one includes a delicious dinner for two at Brewed As and a session at a local sauna - the perfect balance of indulgence and relaxation.

Each bundle is built with love and purpose - and every winning bid supports breast cancer awareness and research. Come along, join the fun, and bid big for a great cause.

Dress in pink for the chance to win spot prizes — we’ll be keeping an eye out for standout style and spirit!
